Tips on Leveling for Mage Class in World of Warcraft
If you have played World of Warcraft, then you must now the classes. One of the most famous classes in World of Warcraft is the mage class. As it name applies, the mage class uses magic to cause much damage to your enemies. Mage also known for their special abilities of crowd control. Mage can freeze enemies in one place all at once. This should be very effective when fighting lots of enemies. Mage can also polymorph the enemy into a sheep and make them a weak opponent.
Although a mage is one of the most famous classes in World of Warcraft, it still has its own weaknesses. Mage is very effective for medium or long range combat. But if they are force to fight in close range combat, a mage is more likely to lose the battle. Mage also weak in physical defense. It is better to stay far away from an opponent. Magic attack is very powerful but need sometimes to cast a spell. If you are fighting in a wide open area, you will have more time to cast a spell since your enemy is also far from you. 1. When you go into battle with an opponent, start casting your most powerful spell when given the chance. Do not use your weak spell. Just be sure you have enough space to cast the spell since casting a spell will take sometimes until the spell is ready. If the first spell successfully hit your opponent, immediately cast another spell. Hopefully you will be able to kill the enemy after your second spell, just before the enemy has a chance to strike you.
2. If you find yourself already in a close range combat and your opponent has successfully strike the first blow, then quickly freeze him and get away as far as you can. If there is another opponent, then quickly freeze him too plus use polymorph spell to turn the second opponent into a sheep. After that, hit the first opponent until he dies. You can use magic spell to kill the first opponent. Heal yourself afterward and hopefully the second opponent is still in sheep form so you can easily kill him. Or at least when you are fighting the second opponent, you are now in much better health level.
3. Since mage class is weak in physical defense, I suggest you to equip your character with lots of potion. Find or buy as many as potions you can have. The Auction House is one place you can buy potions and you can a good deal for potion and other stuff too. Beside potions, you may want to consider equipping elixir. Elixir has the effect for increasing your spell power and intellectual. Elixir can also be bought at the Auction House. Or another option besides buying is to combine herbalism with alchemy and create your own potion or elixir.
4. When you choose a mage as your class for your character, you will need a staff or wand as its primary weapon. I would suggest for your mage character to use wand as your primary weapon. A wand is more flexible if you need to attack from a distance. A wand also great when your character is low on mana. You can easily freeze the enemy with a wand then hit the opponent with a killing spell or powerful spell.
5. Please note the importance of arcane intellect since it is very important for a mage. Do not forget it. You will need this power to be up all the times along with another power of your choice. Please also remember to use your elixir. Use it wisely and it will definitely help you in battle.
6. Herbalism is a very good profession for a mage in the World of Warcraft. When you reach a certain high level, your mage character will learn a very crucial skill which is Lifeblood. With Lifeblood, you can restore an amount of health in the middle of a fight. This skill is definitely useful, especially when your stock of potion is low. You can use Lifeblood to replace potion since it will have the same effect and sometimes have a greater effect compare to potion.
7. If you are being ambushed by the enemies, try your best to run away from the opponents. As I mentioned before, mage is weak in defense. Use blink to move away from the enemy. In case you did not know, blink is a spell for teleporting your character in a short distance, just to give enough space from the enemy. Other than blink, freeze is also a good spell. Use the combination of this two spells in combat and hopefully you will be able to win the fight.

Xbox 360 To Get Fable 3 Sequel
The recent announcement of Fable 3 by Peter Molyneux was something of a surprise for gamers - the gap from the original Fable to the sequel spanned console generations, so it was exciting to learn that the next instalment will be arriving on the XBox 360. As always with Fable games, the world has moved on and industrialisation is reaching Albion. It's a fair bet that steam power is coming our way, though how this will impact on gameplay remains to be seen.
We are told to expect "revolution" and this is supposed to refer to both the gameplay and the storyline, we think.
It won't be a bloodless, peaceful revolution though, because you will get to drive the peasants to rise up (probably getting to choose between using them as cannon fodder and arming them properly, knowing Fable), and you have to build "machines of war". All in all, hopefully this will make the gamer more part of their surroundings in Fable 3, as previous games have always felt a tad detached.
For Fable 3 to succeed, it needs to remain true to its RPG roots. Fable 2 tried to add gameplay mechanics with varying degrees of success, but both the economy and the personal relationships were sideshows that added only small amounts of satisfaction to the game. It was still very much an RPG.
Some of the RPG elements did get lost within the game and Fable 3 has to sort this out. We can't imagine that they will abandon the one-button magic control, but we can only hope because it diluted the spell casting so much that what was one of the best aspects of the original Fable became a poor second to simple hack and slashing in the sequel.
Likewise, the game has to remember that it is just that, a game, and it needs to entertain and reward its players. An ending that makes narrative sense, but leaves the player unsatisfied as happened in Fable 2 is not a great idea if you want people to be looking forward to buying Fable 3, so it needs to promise fulfilment.
Lastly, as Uncharted 2 shows a generational leap in graphics from its original for the PS3, Fable 3 needs to show that the Xbox 360 still has more power to be unleashed and as Molyneux heads up one of the last first-party development studios at Microsoft, they have got to be looking to this game to unleash all the power of the console.
The release date for Fable 3 isn't known, "holiday 2010" is the general release period stated. The game will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 console.
